About the role
Drive B2B and B2G customer acquisition, pilot deployments, and strategic partnerships. Build relationships with Japanese manufacturers, government programs (NEDO, etc.), and ecosystem partners. Manage the full sales cycle from lead qualification to LOI to deployment. Feed real customer requirements back into product and engineering to ensure market fit.
What we're looking for
- Experience in business development, sales, or partnerships for robotics, automation, or industrial technology
- Proven track record closing B2B deals with manufacturing, logistics, or industrial customers
- Experience managing pilot programs and POCs with technical products
- Strong understanding of Japanese business culture and enterprise sales processes
- Ability to translate customer needs into product requirements and work closely with engineering
- Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills
- Fluent Japanese and English required
- Familiarity with government funding programs (NEDO, METI, etc.) a plus
